Mike has been the conductor of Cantamus since 1999. In that time he has broadened the repertoire to include jazz and new commissions as well as developing the classical repertoire. Mike is a firm believer in collaboration, which has resulted in some memorable performances, notably two Haydn masses with Bradford Baroque Band and a rare performance of Duke Ellington's Sacred Music with GBH Big Band.   In 2006, the choir recorded Silent Night, a suite of new arrangements of Christmas carols by Matthew Finch. Their recent performance of Will Todd's exuberant Mass in Blue rocked the town's cultural foundations and set in high standard for concerts to come!

The choir gives three or four concerts each year and rehearses weekly in Winsley, near Bradford on Avon. If you are interested in singing with Cantamus, please use the Contact Me link on the left.
